Default An Island in Kryta

I'm sorry if this has been posted about before, and I also don't have any screenshots, but I ran across one of the rock spires with all of the little houses in it... on an island right off of a northern beach in the land of Kryta.

After trying several times to access it through the tiny channel, I determined there was no way to walk onto the island.

But, on closer examination, there is in fact a resurrection shrine on the island (!) This generally means that you can access it.

So I spent a good two hours trying to lure enemies into the waves near the island and subsequently dying in the vain hope it would resurrect me on the shores of that faroff paradise.

Unfortunately, I failed. I could examine it all I wanted, but it sat there just out of range of my monk's sandalled feet.

Does anyone know anything about this place? Is the resurrection shrine there just to be misleading?

You may be thinking of Fishermans Haven near Sanctum Cay and if so yes it is acessable, has a skill trainer, and has a quest or two.

Nonono, not Fisherman's--- I've been there. This is to the north-- you can see it on your map, it's about north of Beetleton.

I know the Island you're talking about. I just went and took a look around. There isn't really any way by foot as the water around it gets to deep. Also that is not one of those heeling thingys.(at least it's not like the rest) But I tried dying neer it 2 times from difrent spots and it didn't work. I don't think that island is for anything other then to add to the scenery.

The island is in the nid-north of the watchtower coast as I recall (head north out of Beetletun or East from Divinity coast).

My best guess is that it's either an arena area that wasn't/isn't yet implemented (though it is a little small for that if you compare the sizes of the other areas) or there was/is going to be another outpost there, and that's the entrance to it.

It's a nice place though

That whole area, west and north of Beetletun, blew me away when I first went there. Does anyone know what's supposed to be living in those giant building-covered cliffs? They seem way bigger than any actual outpost in the game. Most ouposts give me the impression that maybe 40 people at most live there, whereas these spires have -hundreds- of tiny windows in them.

(I also was frustrated by the inaccessible island the OP is talking about.)

This is the same type of architecture as the cliffs above LA, so I'd assume it's another major Krytan city. But why the res shrine?

Btw, for clarification, here are two screens of this place I took some 2 months ago:

Rather puuzzling indeed.

Based on the shots, you're just looking at structures like at the location of Galrath. :\

It's just an island, nothing more.
